Yes, and the equivalent Mastercard one.

There needs to be an easy way to opt-out of it and a return-path for customers to know which retailers have updated their details automatically and which haven’t.

A mock-up of this was shown on the Monzo Community but they didn’t implement the feature as they didn’t have access to a reliable list of supporting merchants.

Just reviving this topic because it involves recurring card payments but I have noticed now that with Barclays and notifications.

You get notifications for:

  • Direct Debits
  • Card Transactions
  • Transferring in & out
  • Online Transactions
  • Receiving money

You don’t get notified for:

  • Recurring Card Payments?

I’m not sure if I’m doing anything wrong with my app settings but it actually is strange
