Say that you are a tax dodger without saying that you’re a tax dodger
That is an operational expense. They should also complain about the other bills and rent they pay in order to keep running.
Hopefully kills off busking entirely and stops the homeless from congregating around the city centres
I haven’t seen a homeless person with a card reader (yet), but I’ve seen plenty of buskers with them.
It’s nonsense, of course.
And this activity goes on all the time:
Stirling student who laundered £85,000 for crime lord jailed Stirling student who laundered £85,000 for crime lord jailed - BBC News
The court heard an analysis of Huang’s accounts showed that between June 2019 and April 2021 she had banked more than £160,400 with Santander, Monzo and Starling banks.
Around £56,000 was deposited in cash.
I’m going to presume the cash deposits were done with Santander or she really did make life difficult for herself
Done at a post office apparently. So could be either Starling or Santander. I’d err more towards it more likely being Starling than Santander, just from my own experience with how sus each of these tend to be with these things.
And the fact if I was legitimately depositing that much cash with a high street bank, I’d have used the branch.
The starling site says you can deposit 1k a day in cash at the post office and Santander says the same. So maybe doing 2k a day with both.
Santander says though you can deposit 20k a day at a branch.
