First Direct Spend Notifications?

Coming Soon! (In 2030)

 I don’t think they can go on much longer with the coming soon.

Be interesting to know if that is “settled transactions” or immediately when you pay for something.

If it’s the former then to me that’s a bit useless.

Probably the latter, I think HSBC already has notifications for them right?

HSBC does have them, for current account and credit card, although they have been a bit temperamental recently. Not as reliable as Monzo in my experience.
Fingers crossed for first direct, it’s still showing as “what’s next” in my app, same as for the last few years.

Is there anyone who does the latter?

I think doing notifications immediately is the general rule, rather then when settled (though some may provide updates after tips or currency changes etc)

Not sure to be honest but the legacy banks have been pretty poor at implementing new tech over the last 5 years.

I think I am probably remembering early text banking which was mainly this.

Current and savings account only - no credit card notifications.

Have they been introduced for the credit card yet or are they still current and savings accounts only?

I get notifications for my credit card on iOS

Are you sure???
Can you show in app where they are enabled for CC?
In iOS it is only showing for current and savings accounts

I just have notifications for FD enabled. The FD credit card is linked to Curve. When I spend on it, I get the notification for Curve and that for FD. I did not enable notifications specific for any account in the FD app, have never actually bothered about it to be honest

So your original response is not clear.
I think it is safe to say that most people would be talking about credit card notifications directly from First Direct.
