Industry leading IT platform (one of my team where I worked before I retired went to work for them and we’re still in touch), best push notifications of any bank - they keep you informed of everything happening with your accounts the moment it happens - card checks, DD and BACS notifications as soon as they receive notice, meaning that I’ve known about DDs being collected next Tuesday since this Tuesday afternoon and this Wednesday morning.
Those are the main attractions to me. I agree that it’s not a bank for everybody - none of them are - but it works for me (at least for the time being). I’ve tried every high street bank and none of them have everything that attracts me to Monzo (although my HSBC Premier gets close).
