Thank you for your concern.
Unfortunately, they just accept that it’s a nationwide problem and at the moment seem to be burying their head in the sand.
Every time you read the news there are other bus companies cutting services due to driver shortages, but we just seem to keep muddling on.
If it carries on the way it is, I can see us losing even more staff.
Gotta say - this country is really suffering right now. And not because of some unfortunate unexpected catastrophe - but because of purposeful planned action. It’s crazy.
Shortage of stuff on the shelves, queuing for petrol at the forecourts, rising gas prices, bin collections delayed by weeks, shortage of bus drivers, difficulty getting but the most urgent medical attention, motorways blocked by protesters (yes, the last one is for totally different reasons). I’ve experienced this sort of stuff before: during the so-called Egyptian revolution. Someone else I know recently made the comparison to the fall of the Eastern Bloc, which I have only very very vague memories of.
We are clearly killing our own country right now, and it’s driving me mad.
