The T212 debit card now supports Apple Pay
Google pay now supported. Just added mine with no issues.
Donāt know if itās just me, but I couldnāt sign into my account earlier, reset my password and was told āinvalid credentialsā when signing in with new and old password.
If someone has hacked it, they are not going to get richā¦
I can login without issue.
Iāve taken the liberty of expanding the title to reflect the broader chat which has developed over time.
Soā¦ā¦
Iāve just had the rate reduction notification from Coventry BS in relation to my cash ISA. The only really attractive proposition appears to be T212.
Any updated personal info available before I get stuck into a transfer, please?
Iāve not had any issues with the T212 cash ISA. Bit slow to withdraw, but you could get their debit card and take it out via that if pushed I suppose.
Thanks. I hadnāt thought about the debit card as a thing. Iāll check it out.
(Iāve started the transfer).
Thatās pretty much how I use the account. Cash ISA as instant access savings as I can move funds straight to the Invest account (also paying 5.2%) and then spend it on the debit card.
The ISA is flexible so I can deposit previously withdrawn funds before end of tax year to keep ISA status.
Worth noting that the shares ISA and cash ISA operate as one. So, transferring money from one to the other doesnāt affect your ISA allowance and the combo is flexible.
I understand now that the debit card is designed as an instrument to assist the investment side of the account.
As Iāve no intention of embarking on investing, Iāll leave well alone.
(I must say, though, that the ISA transfer process has so far been wrinkle-free).
You donāt need to do any investing, I donāt with my Trading 212 account.
Invest account with the free virtual debit card (added to Google Pay and Curve) which currently (until end of September) pays 1.5% cashback with a similar exclusion list as Chase. Uninvested cash in the invest account earns 5.2% interest.
My Santander Fixed ISA matures in November and I need a home for it.
Not convinced yet that Trading212 is one Iām prepared to try.
Thankyou - thatās now clear. Iāve got me a virtual card added to ApplePay.
Investing would be OK, just steer well clear of the CFD account.
Looks like this will go from 5.2 to 5% from 9th September. Still seems like a good cash ISA at the moment.
Trading 212 have extended their 1.5% cashback promotion until 1 November.
My transfer is going through as we speak.
Should be over fairly soon then. Some places are surprisingly quick. Some are dreadfully slow though (looking at you Hargreaves Lansdowneā¦ six months!).
Ouch.
There was a slight hiccup when I completed the online transfer form but Coventry BS rejected it because they need a āwet signatureā (). No oneās fault I guess, as Iām sure Iāve transferred ISAs in the past without one.
As directed, I sent T212 a true signature and there past it on.
To be fair, comms have been good so Iām anticipating a fairly speedy solution.
Darn. Just in the process of transferring from Coventry myself. I was wondering why it was taking so long.
