Yep :frowning: I gambled £1000 in Bitcoin and Ethereum this time last year and it’s worth about £600 now.

Still, I intended it to be for the long term so let’s see what happens…

Why Bitcoin and Ethereum, if you don’t mind me asking?

Why do you think it’s funny, out of interest?

It seems crypto is still not doing well. Personally I don’t follow it, albeit am always intrigued. I just don’t have the appetite for that level of risk and fluctuation.

I’ve got £85 in a Nexo stablecoin in order to attain a BTC bonus & I’m started to wonder whether it’s worth it :joy:

That said - not a lot on the line

I have just seen that Crypto.com charge £50 to close an account and a £5 per month fee for being inactive.
Isn’t this insane?

It’s certainly shabby practice.

From what I gather the close account fee is an admin fee if you want the card balance transferred elsewhere upon closure. If you just run the card balance down to zero there is no fee.

It’s got to be a scare tactic?

I’m with Nexo and I’m prepared to withdraw everything at the drop of a hat - all in stablecoin with a bitcoin bonus pending in 11 days.

Thank you for this. Let me close it ASAP
