Lloyds Bank can’t view cards in the iOS apps

Hi,
Today I can’t view my debit cards in the Lloyds banking app- for example I get an error message when I try and view my PIN or freeze a card. Does anyone else bank with Lloyds and get the same problem when viewing their cards?
I spoke to the team on Twitter and they advised to close the app, restart device - but this didn’t fix the problem. I will call telephone banking in the morning.

Thank you, I’m not sure what has changed for me then, except I’ve just taken out home insurance in the last few days and expecting this to show in app. Totally weird.

It’s probably that the insurance has somehow messed up your profile - they will be able to sort it if you speak to them!

Have you attempted a reinstall of the app?

I didn’t have the Lloyds app on my iPad -so I installed it on there just now and I get the same error messages- so it must be a problem on my account?

Yes I’ll call the telephone banking Helpdesk in the morning as suggested by the Twitter team below

Thanks for confirming this, Steven. If you could please try force closing the app and restarting it, this may resolve the issue. Please also try either resetting or changing your Internet connection.

I spoke to Lloyds this morning and they can’t see my cards either and it appears to be an IT fault so an incident has been raised with the team. Apparently, they might refresh my profile overnight and the cards should appear again in the morning. The very helpful lady on the phone said she didn’t think it would be anything to do with home insurance being added to my account. IT will come back to her anyway to say what they’ve done. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers: all will be resolved tomorrow.
