I assume you are reverted to a free account after a month. Otherwise that’s HUGELY sharp practice.
I had this with Bunq - they messed up my card order and gave me a month’s free premium as compensation, which I then had to cancel (and it took forever to cancel it) - I just managed it in time to stop being charged).

I would hope that is their practice but I still think it’s rather shady.
Yes, it reverts. You also can’t do some things, like get a metal card, without upgrading to a paid membership first. No problem with the trial per se.
