Yes was able to downgrade in the app only took a few minutes and was confirmed straight away

Just received the £125 - impressive
Got the cash last Thursday, downgraded account on Friday to classic, switch completed today. As an existing customer, time taken was about 10—15 minutes. Would be longer if you had to faff with ID and so on, but still. Let’s say worst case max 2 hours. These are sweet deals for the ~ 90%…

My switch completed today, so I attempted to withdraw the £1500 I’d paid in to prevent the £3 Club Lloyds subscription. Lloyds blocked the withdrawal and asked me to call them. Their fraud team answered straight away but questioned me for around 15 minutes (including putting me on hold while they conducted some “internal checks”) before they finally released the payment.
Now downgraded to Classic and I won’t be using it as a main account!
