Old vinyl record collection

Hi all,

we have inherited a large collection of older records from my mother in law who has downsized to a smaller house.

There is probably a hundred or so ranging for easy fifties and sixties easy listening yo dome eighties pop (my wife’s I believe) and many 78’s.

I have been tasked with getting rid of them but not getting anywhere with advertising them.

I appreciate they are not of any great value so not expecting much if anything find them but can’t bring myself to bin them and my local charity shops aren’t interested.

Any suggestions?

I was in a similar situation 4 years ago during my house move. I was however fortunate that in the village I was moving from, there just happened to be a guy with his own shop selling old vinyl records. I gave him the lot, he was chuffed to bits

Two years later, I bought a brand new record deck and I’ve started a nice collection of new vinyl. Funny how things turn 180.
