Thinking about ditching Netflix now tbh. Itās gone from being a no-brainer, use all the time to a hardly used option in our house. I think in the last few months itās only been used for rewatches of Friends and Brooklyn 99, and there are cheaper (if slightly less convenient and possibly not entirely legal) ways of achieving that.
Apple TV 5 month trial ends today, have enjoyed that more than I thought but not enough to justify a sub. Will try again when the second series of Severance comes out.
Disney+ is nice as a Club Lloyds freebie but I wouldnāt pay for it on an ongoing basis, tbh Iām not even sure Iād choose it if we only had one Club Lloyds account but with 3 it seems silly not to.
Now will take a break when the F1 finishes next month.
Thatāll leave just STV Player, of all things, as a monthly TV sub which I actually pay for!
I think the biggest problem with streaming services has been fragmentation and exclusives, things that have been learnt by Apple & Spotify (in music) to be counterintuitive to business, as people justā¦ go back to MP3s
