Pretty much pointless then, can’t see the staff doing much at these locations.

The title made me hope I could get a pint whilst I wait in the queue and made me want to switch to HSBC, but this is pointless
It’s a watered down branch in a what looks like noisy environment, without the ability to do things people go to a branch for

Yeah I don’t imagine these will last long - nobody will use them because they’ll be useless and that will be used as justification to bin them.
HSBC announced this back in January - pubs have nothing to do with it.
They are also not alone, TSB have also announced “pop up branches” and I suspect others will follow
