Revolut re-issuing some virtual cards

I’ve received this email from Revolut:

Hi,

We’re issuing a select group of customers with a shiny new virtual debit card. Your new virtual debit card comes with a new card number and increased acceptance at merchants. We’re sure you’ll love it!

Your new virtual card will be issued within the next week. Once your new card has been issued, we’ll send you a push notification confirmation.

Your existing virtual card ending xxxx will continue working for the next 60 days and will then be terminated. Don’t worry, we’ll give you a heads-up before terminating the card. If you have other Revolut cards, these will continue to work as normal.

Things to remember

Mobile wallet

Once your new virtual debit card has been issued, you’ll be able to add this to your mobile wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay to make contactless payments.

Contactless payments with your existing virtual card will be declined once the card has been terminated.

Recurring payments

Please remember to add your new virtual card details on file with merchants where you have set-up a recurring payment.

Any recurring payment on your existing virtual card will be declined once your existing virtual card has been terminated.

What should I do next?

At the moment, you don’t need to do anything. You’ll be able to access your new virtual card from the ‘Cards’ tab in the Revolut app. Once issued, you can start using it immediately.

Thanks,

Team Revolut
