I note the Holts branch in Farnborough is also now set to close. I note Holts website has been updated recently with the Natwest Group branding:
I have a Child & Co cheque book which is now a few years old. It has the branch address as 1 Fleet Street. What do the new cheque books give as the branch address, now that 1 Fleet Street has closed?
Manchester contact centre address.
(lifted from ‘gary1312’ on MSE Forum)
It’s also the same design as all other Natwest Group cheque books now, with the poorly-aligned logo printed on.
Any cheques you still have will continue to work. I even use the Fleet Street branch address wherever it’s asked for (normally old school DD mandate forms), never seems to cause a problem.
Thank you! I have nearly a full book of the yellow cheques so will continue to use them.
This thread gas weird things happening
Can you explain further, please?
There are now virtual cards across NatWest/RBS… and the RBS app reflects the Child & Co card properly. Downside, the virtual cards don’t support any C&C branding.
Not sure it’s really a downside though is it? I mean, who gets to ogle your virtual debit card? I have a Holts (RBS) debit card, now that does get the odd cheeky little look when I use it, but the virtual card is just plain old boring RBS.
My Apple wallet does however show my Holts debit card in all its glory ![]()
I prefer to use virtual cards in my Apple Wallet, as I don’t use the physical cards and RBS doesn’t split out contactless and Apple Pay in different settings.
The point I was making though, is that you wouldn’t stand there in Lidl with your Apple wallet open and then start deliberately inviting folks to look at you Child & Co debit card would you? So it doesn’t actually matter what it looks like in App or virtually because no one would give a t#ss anyway ![]()
I look at it when I open the app and that’s enough for me, lol
