Hi all!

Firstly, I wanted to say a big thank you for your continued contribution to the site.

You may recall a thread a little while back relating to costs of this forum. The costs aren’t massive, but I think the general consensus was that people would like the option to contribute.

Following this (albeit, 5 months later), I’ve added an option to support the site. It’s completely optional, but you can now make a card payment, either as a one-off, or as a subscription.

This can be found here and is processed by Stripe.

Please don’t feel pressured, and don’t feel that not contributing will lead to the forum disappearing (as it stands). But as a well-known supermarket says, “every little helps” :slight_smile:

Are payments from this link still working?
I have tried with two different cards and it fails at Mastercard 3DS and get this error. I get no code to verify or anything. So it happens before I make any action.

Strange, it should still work.

I’ll have a proper look when I’m at a computer next (bit tricky on my phone) and I’ll let you know.

Sent a one of payment of £5

I had this issue with the George at Asda website two weeks ago.

In that specific case, it turned out to be Google Chrome browser issue, as it payment cleared when I changed browser.

Are you using Chrome per chance?

Only tried with Safari and Firefox on Mac and iPhone.
Issues first happened at my home network and mobile data, thought I would give it a go when on a different network yesterday, still same problem.
I was planning to explorer VPN but I know how VPNs are not liked by some fraud detection systems so didn’t try that. I also tried on NextDNS profile and see if there was anything being blocked but nothing came up in logs.
I one time had issues paying Lloyds and Barclays credit cards then noticed that some connections were blocked by NextDNS for being trackers, once I whitelisted them everything worked.
But this time even on a different network I still couldn’t get through.

Edit: For this particular payment it was initially a subscription paid annually but failed because card had expired. I could not update to new card so deleted card and tried again with new one, didn’t work. Then cancelled subscription and tried, still failed.
So I don’t know if it is something specific to me.

Let me give it a go with a Visa card and see.

I used safari on my phone with Mastercard.

I think something is wrong. I have just remembered that yesterday it was a Wise Visa card, and even today a Kroo Visa card also shows the Mastercard 3DS screen then the failure message. I wish I could screen record with my details covered.
