Just long as I get a 13 pro max

I only care because my Mac has one, my Android has one, my headphones have one  it’s just my poor iPhone and AirPods left behind, but at least wirelessly charging the AirPod isn’t too bad

I mean replacing the earpiece with a proper speaker like Sony/Asus do and toning the volume down for calls instead of pumping it up for audio and making it not very pleasant

I also mean getting rid of the stupid one two speaker grills with only one firing out audio, in the perfect place for me to block it with my thumb

50w wired charging would be great, honestly. I could live with 50w wireless too if there wasn’t a wired option. But I do mean 50+ Watts it needs to be under 1hr charge time if its wireless

I hope this is true AND I hope it comes to the pro phone! I am obsessed with buying pink things but I always want the biggest baddest iPhone and sadly that has meant picking from the plain colours. My husband has an iPhone 12 mini in purple and I am tres jealous.

Is the mini not really tiny ? My hands feel kinda big around the XR and I think that’s the same size as the 12

The 12 is actually quite a bit smaller than the XR. It’s closer in size the regular iPhone X or 11 pro. I really like the size, and the straight edged form factor has probably rendered the mini obsolete now that we have a pretty big screen in a fairly small form factor that’s comfortable to hold and use one handed.

Guess it’s time to move towards the pro models then, I guess

You probably need to move to the pro max line! 12 pro is exactly the same size as the regular 12!

Even better, I get to spend more money and get nothing but a bigger screen. I don’t use the cameras so they’re pretty useless to me

If Android wasn’t so crass I’d probably move to it fully

However I guess I’ll pop into Vodafone and see if I can make someone’s day with commission on a phone purchase one day  when the iPhone 13 line comes out anyways, after I see how my hand fits the bigger model

It’s pretty small so I wouldn’t pick it. But for popping in a small pocket it’s useful. Personally I have an 11 pro max as I prefer phablet sized phones.

I wish the only difference was a bigger screen!

It irks me that that other things wind up being exclusive features of the bigger form factors. I want the features, but not the bigger size.

I care about the cameras a lot, and I’m still annoyed that the bigger phone got better cameras. Sure there’s more room in the bigger size, but let’s not kid ourselves. We know these things will be on the smaller 13 pro.

I went from the X to the 11 and was happy with more screen real estate. I then went to 12 Pro and was happy with the phone fitting in my hand more easily. I recently held a 12 Pro Max (wasn’t happy when a tradesman thrust it in my hand without sanitising it first!) but I liked the size. Not sure if I could live with it every day though. It’s so hard to decide!

Sanitising your phone too much will probably strip the anti fingerprint coating from it, not a problem if you put a screen protector on but I guess that’s what they didn’t want to strip? if it was a model unit, anyways

Depends what sanitiser you use. Some actually help to restore the coating. Oils from your skin wear it down anyway.

I’d recommend Whoosh! for sanitising devices. It’s what they use in Apple Stores too.

For 15,99 I think I’ll take a pass, although I could probably do with swapping screen protector and giving some TLC to my iPhone XR

But, how old even is this thing now? 4 years?

Edit: also, do any of you know where to source the water resistant seals for iPhone XR & good quality batteries? I heard the ones on Amazon aren’t great but I am not going to Bath to replace a battery

Edit: 2018, so feeling like forever for sure

That looks like a good cleaner! Does it kill germs or just remove visible dirt?

Kills Removes germs.

From their FAQ:

Our Screen Shine product is a screen cleaner specifically designed to leave your screen 99.99% cleaner than it was before. It is not a disinfectant but will help to remove germs and bacteria from the surface of your device with our antimicrobial treated microfibre cloth. Here’s a quick video on how it works versus water.

Disinfectants often contain harsh ingredients that can be harmful to you or your device. We design all our products to be safe for you, your screen and the environment. While we do not claim to kill COVID-19, the best protection so far is to wash your hands. Also, because everything you touch ends up on your phone you should be cleaning that as well!

Aces thank you! I might stick with my alcohol wipes when I’m out and about but this will be good for my iPad screen. So smudgy all the time :joy:

It makes my screens look brand new! I’d probably combine these with rubbing alcohol. Wipe with alcohol first, dry, then use Whoosh. Whoosh leaves a protective coating to help resist fingerprints and scratches too. It’s to replenish the oleophobic coating that your phone comes with.

They have released a disinfectant designed for tech too, but that’s not available in the UK AFAIK

My Pride Solo Loop has arrived and its beautiful! The elastic strands have a soft material coating so it’s really comfy and it stays in place perfectly. It smells a little bit chemically straight out the box bit I hope that fades.

The first solo loop I bought was too big so size was my biggest concern. This time I pulled the measuring tape a little tight and used that measurement on the size guide.

That does look lovely! I’m still waiting for mine to be picked up from China – says estimated delivery 1 June but I’m not holding my breath
