It is an interesting idea…kinda makes me feel less sad for grinding for Microsoft Points through the Xbox app to occasionally earn enough for a free month of Gamepass. 
Apparently there are others that do the same…at least to warrant making a whole credit card for it.

Honestly it’s a good idea, I’d get one that lets me earn MS points, providing the earned ones are still redeemable for gift cards
These points have really helped me get cheaper Skype credit to make calls abroad to some people not on Whatsapp or any other VoIP app. I currently have about £200 worth of credit sitting there.
