A Trading 212 Thread

This is my first complete month with the ISA. The app is wrinkle-free and customer services (used to pursue a feature issue* around cleaning up defunct accounts within “Payment Methids) is impeccable.

(* You’re welcome, by the way ).

Do they allow past customers to return? I used to have an account (trading) with them that I closed.

Just been informed you can reactivate or open new accounts.

Thank you Graham.

Most welcome.

Yesterday I put in a request with Trading 212 to transfer last years cash ISA held with Moneybox to my existing T212 cash ISA.

It was completed today! Very impressed as I was expecting a few days at least. It’s taken me longer to type this comment that it did to initiate the transfer.

Mine from Zopa will take up to two weeks apparently.

Mine took five weeks but eventually the transfer came through. I hadn’t thought it would be an issue but t212 had an error in my title which screwed things up for a long time. And took many messages and phone calls to figure out. It was the other bank that finally figured out what was going on.

Well, that’s impressive. Five working days and my funds have transferred from Zopa and now safely in Trading212 :+1:

Not a word from Zopa in that time :man_shrugging:

Seems that withdrawals from T212 are now instant.

App still saying up to 3 business days for me, have you tried withdrawing and it transferred instantly for you?

Just going by the recent comments. Changed phone so have to make this one trusted first.

Nope, not instant, at least not for me.

Just tried it - they are indeed :relieved:

The bank notification of receipt was instant - the emails from T212 came about 10 seconds later.

(The email which says “up to 3 business days ).

Edit: and it’s instant the other way. :+1:t3:

Must be rolling it out then. My tenner still hasn’t appeared!

Which account do you have?

I can also confirm withdrawals and deposits are instant for me, using my T212 cash ISA. Which is great!

As am I.

It was instant to Chase, not there yet for Starling. That said, I set up Starling first a very long time ago and it’s listed strangely so I think I need to redo that.

Don’t use the IBAN when entering the bank details as that means it uses BACS rather than Faster Payments!
