Yes, they ultimately did. Otherwise I would’ve mentioned it ![]()
I think the wider issue is they are now resulting to outsourcing ![]()
Outsourced staff with limited access and outsourced training. It’s killed companies reputation before so hopefully it’s only short term
I’m wondering why the Chasemoaners don’t just close their accounts and be done with it? Then we’d be freed of listening to them, but I’m sure they’ll find something else to complain about ![]()
The value in the forum is its ability to hear from pretty much all corners. As long as comments are properly pitched, it’s all part of the conversation.
I was, like many, an account holder from the off. Not exactly a poster-boy, but certainly very pro-Chase.
I get cheesed off from time to time. Right now, they’re not so shiny, but I hope they’re able to revive my interest in the months to come.
A little divisive
If every post in the thread was full of praise then it wouldn’t make for very interesting reading!
I’m personally ambivalent regarding Chase. They’ve now increased the interest rate to 2.1%, which is a move in the right direction, though.
From 24th October
Maybe, but true ![]()
Indeed ![]()
At last, we have same praise. ![]()

Too little too late in my view though they have bigger problems re: their platform at the moment - so perhaps they actively don’t want too many customers atm
We already are able to.
It’s a forum feature called mute
How convenient
I’m wondering if those who were so fast to move their money out are now thinking differently??
No, no regrets. I moved mine out a few months ago when they were no longer the best rate. Now moving to Santander eSaver.
I’ve shifted most across to Nationwide Triple Access. Will shift most back once the rate goes up to match it as Nationwide has access restrictions and annual interest.
Nope.
Earned and earning more interest elsewhere.
Kept a couple to imitate interest bearing current accounts and my DDs are paid from them.
As the improved savings offering doesn’t come close to Santander right now, I’m afraid they’re not giving me pause for thought.
Thank you Chase for letting me know about a new Direct Debit I’ve setup.
Despite all your recent issues I think your best times are ahead. You app is a much better experience than most, unlike some legacy banks that a full of ads and are clunky your app is fresh, clean and straightforward to use.
Thank you for being here in the UK
, I appreciate you can’t always get things right - just like the other banks. I hope you stick around.![]()
Monzo and Starling have been doing this for a long time. Also a notification in the feed. Unusual that Chase don’t notify you when the DD actually leaves your account, though.
I’d be surprised if Chase actually read this thread, though. Perhaps send them a tweet?
