Not to say I said this a very long time ago BUT Curve loses money on every transaction as they’re just a card aggregator, so they’ve got to shift users onto paid plans and hope they keep the subscription going while keeping usage of perks that cost them money around but not overused.
And they need to pray that Apple and Google don’t implement GBiT.
Just noticed this. Basically a bulk GBiT, but with a 1.5% fee for credit cards, nothing for debit. Cheap way to move to a 0% card.
People already having issues with it on Reddit.
With the 1.5% fee I would be happier taking the Nationwide BT card at same rate with even purchases 0% for 15 months
Compared to the BT cards with their 3% or more charge, this would be cheaper, though you’d need to move it to a 0% purchase card rather than a BT one.
The Nationwide card I am talking about is a dual BT (1.5% fee, 0% APR) and purchases (0%) for 15 months. Assured to talk to someone in case something goes wrong.
I have that, but the 0% period ran out a while back. Good for spending on the holiday for sure.
I closed one last year after the offer, eligible again
Hadn’t thought of doing that. So if I close the Nationwide credit card, how long is it before I can reapply and get the offer?
I closed in May 2025 and got a letter that I would never be eligible for any 0% offer again. From January I have been seeing that I am eligible for this.
I have seen others say wait time is 6 months from closing.
Looks like the Samsung Pay agreement is being terminated
This does not augur well
Your Curve Flex line is temporarily paused
We wanted to let you know that your Curve Flex credit line has been temporarily paused for new borrowing.
Our current funding partner, who provides the capital for Curve Flex instalment plans, has decided to stop funding new loans. As a result, we’ve had to pause Flex lending while we put in place a new funding partner to continue offering Curve Flex.
Here’s what this means for you:
-
You can still manage your existing Flex plans as normal - your repayments will continue as scheduled. -
You won’t be able to create new Flex plans or use the Flex Card to make new purchases during this pause. -
We don’t yet have a timeframe for when Flex lending will restart, but we’ll contact you as soon as we have a confirmed update.
We understand how useful Curve Flex is for managing spending. We’re working hard behind the scenes to restore full access as quickly as possible, and we’ll keep you informed along the way.
If you have any questions you can contact us via chat in the Curve Pay App. Select the Curve Flex option or email [email protected].
Presumably it’ll just move over to Lloyds in due course.
Lloyds taking over. They have done AML checks on Curve customers via Transunion.
