In fairness Fineco never directly marketed that and when you put it into a BIN checker it says UK anyways
No, they didnât but then it only seems to have changed to an Italian one relatively recently. Cynergy used to be Bank of Cyprus so maybe theyâd have a Cypriot BIN. Somebody must know.
Iâve no idea what the Cynergy card even looks like! It states it can only be used at EUR ATMs or Terminals and must be funded via SEPA or internal Cynergy exchange. As good a chance as any
It says âCynergy Bank euro debit cards are available but cannot be used in the UK.â which sort of implied that it isnât a UK BIN.

I am not travelling in the Eurozone this year, might tell Fineco to close it now and save them a job later and get going with Cynergy, one less appâŚ
If you open Cynergy first you could do the SEPA transfer from Fineco to kick it off.

Just Bankera as I am aware. Took an age to gain approval, but sent my card fairly quickly
Just tried to apply. It generates multiple errors when trying to complete the form (I thought it was my phone, but tried and got exactly the same response on my laptop). For instance - Male or Female. Select either and the box goes livid red. Therefore no âsubmit buttonâ is provided
I tried to withdraw the ÂŁ5 I put into the account but canât remember any of my details so itâs staying there. What will happen when they eventually have to wind down?
Will I single-handedly stop them doing so?

I donât have a GBP card I opted for the free EUR card. You could use a card to top up Revolut - this is always how Iâve lifted funds off Fineco in EUR. But no good if you canât login to add up to ÂŁ10/have a EUR card.
I messaged them about closing it down in advance, a paper form was required which Iâve done lol
As for Cynergy - bug central on a phone but no issues on a laptop. All I have is an application reference, no emails from Cynergy yet.
I have the account closure form - youâd need to fill it in and scan it - but you can stipulate where any funds go - would you like it?
(Youâd need your Fineco account number tho - perhaps you sent money there before and have it?)

Fineco closing, Bankera and Cynergy accounts not able to be opened - I think Brexit has finally caught up with me 
I finally got a Bankera account by saying I would solely use it as a current account. The minute I even suggested it be used for funding investments or being funded by investments, it was rejected!
Rang them up to cancel the application - they offered digital ID verification! How odd!
Apparently it is a one time use so best get it right
Time to start researching Estonian banks I think. Came across something months and months ago which implied we could open them. Canât remember where I saw it though.
