I’m weary of Revolut’s slippery terms. You really have to click through to the smallprint to get basic info sometimes - their rewards are particularly bad in this respect
The Reward term has an extra step since the first time I used it!
It now says you must reactive it everytime - I’ve pointed out the discrepancy, but not expecting much…
It does equate to less than a pound but its a test of how they deal with a problem in the ether
Setting back up a Direct Debit is another problem area. It happened once and both parties blamed each other, this makes me think its Rev/Modulr
There are structural issues with reliance on third parties - mainly the payment processor and their support from my experience
That being said I do tend to top it up a three to four fig sum a month and use it for spend and some non joint bills
There’s so much on the app it feels like going back to an empty fridge when I use Monzo or the like for my day to day banking…
Let’s see how they deal with these two issues, bit of a litmus test
Modulr seem pretty solid with others, so I wonder what the SLA is like with Revolut. Maybe they went cheap.
They were developing an in-house processor last year, but it went quiet. They recently gave me a new virtual card for no apparent reason with the claim it’s more reliable, so perhaps they’re slowly rolling this out.
Difficult to decide whether that’s a compliment or not!
Yes, RevP, it was called.
They gave me a RevP beta card to test it back around summer 2019.
I’ve never had any issues with it, with my small amount of card use, so it’s about time the roles it out fully.
Ha, it is a compliment but I know for others it’s a criticism!
What really frustrates me is that for things like DD’s, the agents only seem able to see as much as I can on the scheduled payments section. It’s a relevant team that can liase with Modulr, they will refer it to them if something has gone wrong but not if you’re trying to check something preemptively…
I noticed this morning that HyperJar use Modulr.
#uselessfact
Yup, but not the Direct Debit service they offer as of yet I beleive?
I have an update r.e one of my issues with Revolut, but it may warrant another thread???

They’re at £60 a pop for referrals now !
Lol, I’ve been banned from doing them!
Be foolish not to post my link really Although I’m sure most of us here already have an account anyway!

I also have the £60 offer. I won’t bother posting here, though I’m happy to send anyone a link if they want one. Just drop me a PM.
I’m pestering my sister and her other half to open accounts now
Beware! I’m now told I’m not blocked, my friends three payments weren’t more than £5 per transaction.
When doing this promo before, this definitely wasn’t the case as it worked when a friend did £1 top up three times.
They’ve moved the goal posts. The page which shows this minimum amount isn’t linked on the referral steps, neither is the £5 specified.
The email I got today about the new £60 referral mentions £5 minimums, but the previous email I got about the £40 referral didn’t. I think they’ve moved the goalposts without communicating it properly.
They absolutely have, as its the only reason my friend wouldn’t have been eligible.
For 4 days I couldn’t see his referral progress, then I was told I’d broken T&C & wouldn’t be invited again so didn’t get my friend to investigate further during the timescale.
I’ve since been told I haven’t actually violated them and have been invited to a new one…
Complaint worthy? My last complaint got 2 months of ‘free premium’…great…
I’d never seen this till the agent sent me it today…
Well I got my £40 in the end, through a complaints settlement…
Anyone want to join, my reward is £60, willing to give £25 to someone
Let me know
