@anon47616136 i have two searches showing up as well on my next report for RBS on ClearScore. So I will have to refrain as come September if it comes out would like credit with apple for iPhone 13 max pro.
I’d love to respond with “and I’m too lazy to tell you !” but that would be rude (if a tad amusing ). It does, and the card and PIN letter delivery are quick.
Oooh, do you have a pic of the Drummonds card?
Same! I guess I’ll just have to hope the link is still there in a number of months. Or that ClearScore are wrong and I’m only getting one search. Shame it’s another month away until my next report
Seb said 4 days ago that for Drummonds you only get the standard RBS debit card:
Ah, that’s the post I was thinking of! I’m on mobile though so search is harder. Now who to believe – @Seb or @Graham
My apologies, both. I was relying on something I’d read elsewhere.
Just had the welcome to select account but no sort code or account number yet.
Bit weird that they’d search twice? I’d file a complaint
Same here 2 hard searches shown on my report
Take your point. I’m not anticipating applying for credit, so I tend to ignore the impact on the credit score. But that’s just me…
I wonder if it’s the automated search then the manual one? But they’re both on the same date. I’ll see when my next full report drops, but as I’m not really looking for too much credit and a current account search shouldn’t affect things anyway, I’ll probably leave it
Just rang them and got my sort code and account t no.
Was that a letter or an email? How long after the approval email did you get it?
Opportunity for some free money, Lloyds did the same to me and really screwed my report and they gave me £75
RBS is available as an open Banking connection with Monzo Plus/Premium. In the Monzo app, connected accounts show a single colour card with the external bank logo in the top-right, there doesn’t appear to be any ‘actual card’ images for external banks in the app libraries.
Do you get the customer number and digital banking sent though post with card and pin? I take it you can’t get card reader till you have all other info sent across.
Would be awesome if they were to do something like this, similar to curve. Which brings me onto…
Does anyone know if these cards show up in Curve as C&Co debit cards or just RBS?
Interestingly, I’ve not been offered a card reader (not an issue, as, like most, I’ve got a selection from Barclays & Nationwide).
I’ve set up a new payee (a task which often seems to trigger the need for a card reader) and wasn’t asked for one.
Oh, have I got mine before you did? welcome to the club!
