I think Fentury supports Triodos, it’s the only provider I’ve heard of that supports Modified Customer Interface connections.

The account number obviously shows in the app, or were you using Live Chat through their website?

Nope, I had to activate digital banking before I could use the app. To activate digital banking you need your account number. I’d received all documentation: welcome letter, card, pin. I had my customer number, and the last 4 digits of my account number but not my full account number.

I had to use live chat through the website to get my account number. It apparently should have been included in my welcome email and welcome letter, but it wasn’t.

Ah, I’ve got it now!

Yes, whenever I’ve opened accounts with the group in the past the full account details and sort code have been in the opening letter.

That’s partly why I was so confused!

Strange question i know does RBS show logos on the app for some payments?

Yes, they have different “transaction type” logos.

There is a logo for fees, and transfers in/out, I think there are also more for other types of transaction but they aren’t coming to mind.

What is the process for activating the get cash feature in app? They have my mobile number, my card has been activated, there is sufficient funds available, but I can’t use it for security reasons.

Do I have to wait a certain amount of time like I do with some Barclays features?

I can’t set up standing orders till get my card reader.

I obviously don’t know if you are, but if you are a Nationwide customer and already have a card reader, that will work with RBS.

No tried to use my boyfriends Barclays and won’t let me till comes through post and have to activate it the card reader.

From my past experience with NatWest you can call them up and say you have received the card reader / have one snd they will update the account security to unlock all your features

I know this as when I was with NatWest it never recognised it was delivered for weeks

Ah, so perhaps I need to wait for and activate the card reader, and then the get cash code feature might work!

Is that why you all signed up for RBS? Missed the old card readers too much?

I finally got a response and I’ve been accepted - it was dicey there as I’d accidentally also applied for a normal account at a standard branch a couple of weeks before :sweat_smile:
