Excellent news! Doesn’t look quite as classy with the normal Mastercard logo but I’ll take it. I wonder if Drummonds will move to a similar card too.
To clarify, I have no idea when the mass switching ahead of expiry will begin but no doubt it will. I saw some suggestion it was supposed to be this summer but it looks like that was only the first tranche.

The gradient still looks the same to my eye 
The darkness I suspect is due to the lighting. Or is the black box covering the numbers confusing folks?

I agree, on first glance it looks the same to me. Perhaps the brightness of the Mastercard logo is throwing people off a bit too.

Very pleased the brand is sticking around but I much prefer the Visa logo. Mastercard just looks tacky

Has anyone upgraded their child & co account to a reward account? Just wondering if you loose the card etc
I did about a year ago - didn’t lose the fancy card. I also had to replace the card a few months ago and was sent C&C branded card as replacement.

Yes, I’ve upgraded a select twice with no change of card and my fiancée opened a reward account and got the Child card.
I imagine it’s an override on all ‘offline capable’ debit cards issued on that sort code so it’d be the same again, so even if you choose a Premier account (which normally gives you a nicer card with Natwest/RBS) you’d get the same again.

Applied for an additional child & co account for my bills to go out of been issued a MasterCard this time but unable to add it to Apple Pay as it comes up with invalid card when adding it through the app

Same here. It tries to contact the card issuer then says it cannot add the card and gives me the option to try again or try later. Have you actually received the new card? I haven’t, so maybe that’s the reason

No only applied yesterday but I’m sure I managed to add my visa one before it arrived but that would of been after a couple of days of having access to the app

You definitely could.
Let us know if you can add it when it arrives. I suspect it could be that RBS haven’t made the mobile payment card art available yet.

I’ve just tried again to add the card to Apple Wallet and this time it worked. I still haven’t received the physical card.

I definitely feel that the Mastercard
Logo would have looked much better if they’d have gone for the silver version like what’s on the Chase card.
