Coventry Building Society
Their new rates are here
My Yorkshire 6 access will smash this next Thursday, rising to 4.50%, so happy I didn’t add another account to my stash ![]()
Update
Newcastle Base Tracker NLA - No longer available
Yorkshire Building Society Easy Access 4.25%
I’ll pass as I have more than enough accounts around this range now, with a couple maybe likely to respond above this figure soon ![]()
Sticking with Chip for now. Whenever I move my savings elsewhere, Chip usually beat the interest rate a few days later.
Where’s the best rates for a joint IA? Preferably with an app but could deal without.
Disgraceful!
Eh, I think the committee meeting with the bank CEOs pretty much summed it up. Most people don’t have massive savings to benefit from, so they’re better off investing the lower rate money into some other way to help people
This is a good point. 1 in 4 people In the UK have less than £100 saved.
This is why most people don’t care about interest rates.
Chip edges above Ford, with 4.26% AER (monthly)
I will stick with Ford due to their accounts not being real instant access. I have cancelled several impulse withdrawals in the past which has saved me a bit.
This outfit has never raised any conversation here, but as their offering isn’t shabby, here it is….
Oh and by the way, despite the cuddly email, I’ve never had a account with them ![]()
Family Building Society (aka National Counties) is at 4.35%
