What does their flashing colour security check on your face do when you register a new device?

I presume it’s to check you are actually creating a video rather than cooking one up in advance. I’d guess the colours flash in a random order, which the human verifying the video sent checks are reflected against your face?

I’m in exactly the same boat as you.

I don’t use it myself but only because I already use a platform for investing that has savings accounts as well and the rate is slightly higher.

They should have just allowed us to have spaces that earned interest but they went with just your standard savings account you can get anywhere.

I just noticed this. Connected accounts for business users. Is there anything else they get that isn’t available for personal customers

Not long now until there is no more interest on your balance with Starling. Will there be a mass exodus? Does the majority even care about interest?

I’m using Zopa more now…

Since they won’t let me open the Easy Saver, I’ve moved the balance to Kroo.

Not enough in there to worry about tbh

I was using spaces quite extensively, knowing everything in them was attracting 3.5%ish, but I’ve already moved everything back to the building society.

They replaced the in-credit interest with a savings account that is next to useless. I’m not sure what they were thinking when they did that.

Kroo have the equivalent of Spaces.

It’s fairly obvious.

They were matching Chase, now they don’t have to as they’ve dropped credit interest on their current account.

If they retain it on their current account then they pay credit interest to every current account holder. A new savings account means they offer it to only some; everyone else gets zilch.
