Switch Bonus

It’s ok my joint one is longer established

Your reasons for switching away from Starling are pretty much identical to why I dumped them. Yes, Starling were reliable and they never gave me any issues, but they just got utterly boring in my opinion. The App I’m afraid is just tired now, it needs some sort of overhaul. I’ve earned more in cashback using Algbra than anything in interest Starling gave me. At least when I switched back to TSB after almost 6 years, I got free cash out of it.

Well listen to this. Initiated a switch to Lloyds last Tuesday, due to complete this Thursday 28th. The £175 incentive was credited to my account today!

I’m getting a lot of pressure to do Lloyds to get Disney  £3/month Vs £10 at the new price even if you don’t bother with the £2000 monthly top-up.

I’ve just opted in for my rewards renewal next month

Lloyds always pay put before the switch even completes

It is free if you pay in £2000 a month and also pay out two DDs. I just renewed my rewards, my Disney will start in October

This isn’t necessary to qualify for the Disney perk (or any other). You only need a direct debit if you want interest on the account.

The £2000/month funding requirement is enough to reimburse the£3/month fee

I’ve started my switch to Lloyds today for the Disney+ benefit.

I know I said I’d stay put with one bank but these incentives have got me on a switch roll :see_no_evil:

Now I just have to wait for the letter in the post so I can register with online banking :smiling_face_with_tear:

And I thought you were Mr/Ms TSB!

Guess my loyalty lies with free money… am I a gold-digger? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

We’re the same then, my TSB account becomes Nationwide on October 12th. I didn’t even dislike the account, but my RBS one is where my salary goes and I didn’t think it was a step up on that

I was thinking of switching to Nationwide but the Disney+ took my attention for £25 less :see_no_evil:

Ah, but it’s not less. It effectively saves you £84/year on Disney even if you don’t bother with the £2000 funding. So £175 + £84 = £259.

I’ve nearly talked myself into it.

Natwest giving £200 if you have not yet received a bribe from Natwest group from January 2020

Lloyds giving £175

Damn, I can’t actually remember when the last time I had a switch from them was

Does your credit report give you an indication when you last opened an account with them?

That’s not a bad idea, I’ll check MoneySavingExpert’s CreditClub rq

Edit: I have indeed had a switch bonus since then
