I might be your guy…I had my salary into Revolut for 7 months and paid up to 6 direct debits out in a month at one point
Salary - no issues, no checks, came in at 5pm the working day earlier on all occasions apart from one where it came in overnight - they couldn’t explain why but on the whole pretty great. My partner gets the salary into Rev as well - no complaints at all.
DD - fine on the whole you get a notification at 11pm the working day before they are due. Downsides are that before the first one you can’t see the direct debit in your scheduled payments.
Bigger downside is that if a DD is cancelled you can’t set it back up under the same DD reference - serious issue for credit card DD’s…so a bit mixed there.
Nowadays I use it for a group bill, bit of travel, transfers as most of my payees are on there.

To test this further I know someone having a Save as you earn scheme paid back into a Revolut account soon! Sure it’ll go smoothly as the salary goes in already.
Has anyone received a warning on the app saying they’ve ‘identified excessive top-ups and transfers’ and ‘if similar behaviour continues we may need to suspend your account’?
