I didn’t notice the flight was for under £100, so I’ll shut up lol!
I definitely wouldn’t buy any flight that cost over £100 on a debit card.

I’m assuming Chase users here have seen v.1.2.1 release today?
Apparently with this update your able to add the card to other devices now
I can second that. KLM have been, maybe, the only decent airline group throughout the pandemic. Reasonable and fair policies.
Still, I’d never not buy flight tickets on credit. Too much risk involved generally.
But not it seems, Apple Watch…
You can already add it to Apple Watch from the app. I’ve had mine on there for a while.
I’m clearly being massively thick here because I’ve tried everything to add Chase to my Apple Watch and it’s not happening. Any helpful description of how to do this would be greatly appreciated
I’m pretty sure it was part of the process of adding it to your phone!
Check these posts earlier in this thread:
If you no longer have the button to add it to Apple Pay in the app, try removing it from your phone and going through the flow again.
So remove the whole Chase App from my iPhone and download it again?..
I’ve looked in the App and I can’t see anywhere to download the App to my watch, unless of course you know where to find it?
No! Remove the card from the wallet app on your phone! Then the button should show up in the chase app again.
Ah, ok, done that and card is added to apple watch wallet. This is not what I actually wanted. I just wanted the Chase App on the Watch like Nationwide. Instead, it’s just removed the card from my iPhone Wallet and added it to my Watch.
You can now add it to your phone again from the app. The button to add it will still be there. It only disappears when it sees the card on your phone.
Yes, I get that, I can see the add to Apple Wallet button is still there. But as I say, I just wanted the actual app on my Watch and it just isn’t available in the App store for installation on the Watch as I’ve obviously discovered.
Thank you anyway for your help
Unfortunately watch apps need to be specifically developed and not many banks do that nationwide are in the minority in that regard
Used my card via Curve and Google Pay wallet yesterday for Park and Ride in Bristol. Fare £3.50
£1 appeared straight away, as is normal from past experience.
Balance of £2.50 taken today, showing as a separate transaction, but complete with roundup, which was nice to see, and definitely not my experience using same feature with another fintech bank.
Just what is it with Chase?
I had another bum clenching time this morning. I transferred some readies from my RBS account to my Starling account, transfer literally quicker than I could blink. I then did a payment from Starling to Chase and I waited and waited, for some 20 minutes before it hit the account.
I think there must have been issues this morning because when I attempted to look at my Chase card details this morning, it just hung there and then a big Stop sign came up and it said they must have problems their end.
Not impressed at all if I’m honest because I never get this issue with any of my other accounts.
I’m also fed up that I still can’t verify my Chase account in my Starling payments, Starling just won’t have it, so any funds I send to Chase are done at my own risk and I get the scam warnings. Not good enough in my book.
I have never experienced a delay of more than about 60 seconds in my transfers. Admittedly, I have not transferred from Starling to Chase yet, though neither do I foresee doing so.
I do have the CoP thing on every payment, however, I accept that as the cost for having the payee name something more useful than my actual name!
My transaction feeds with banks would mean absolutely nothing to me if every FP and SO just said "Joe Bloggs and no associated account numbers.
Perhaps I have been lucky, but my dealings with Chase have been faultless from account opening to now
I had this last night my partner transferred money from nationwide to starling and took about 25-30 mins to arrive
