They’re not saying soon, though? At least not in the chat

Apart from that chat, for example on Twitter they’ve always been coming soon :soon:

This is exactly why chat gets busy

Chase are looking for new graduates to support the growth of their new digital bank….

Appears that they are sticking around….

Now we’ve launched a digital bank in the UK, we’re busy planning our next phase of growth, including developing new products and expanding to new countries – so it’s an incredibly exciting time to jump on board.

I do hope Chase are going to pull their fingers out and set the banking world on fire with something a bit more than what they’re currently offering. I can’t lie, despite the cashback, I’m a bit bored with the account, well, as much as one can be bored with a bank account because they’re hardly awe inspiring at the best of times. Upshot is, I just want to CASS out my RBS account because I’m fed up with that as well  I’ll probably make sure I get one of those lovely beach scene debit cards though because when the weather is arse like it is today, I’m looking out of my living room window at a very choppy sea and it’s peeing it down, I could hold up my debit card and suddenly feel it’s an amazing day

I agree with this. I’m getting tired of having to move money around and ensuring Chase is always topped up. I’m tempted to just go back to my old setup of spending on my Amex card and paying off once a month

Chase need to bring something new soon

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I use my Starling account to top up my Chase account. I daren’t try to top up from my RBS account because I think I read somewhere on this forum that they had problems with RBS questioning the transfer or something. I don’t want the hassle if I’m honest.

I topped up with £300 from RBS and it went through… not sure about sending more now you’ve said that

It’ll probably be ok, but I just really don’t want the hassle of dealing with RBS if they for reasons unspecified, stop a payment or transfer. I mean they shouldn’t, unless of course they think something dodgy is going on, which of course isn’t the case. I’m stuck between a rock and hard place, I actually really like the RBS app, but I’m not that fussed with them as a bank. I only took an account with them because of the CASS payment they offered at the time.

I’ll report back if it goes wrong and I’ll stop using Chase and/or RBS if it does (fingers crossed it doesn’t)

I’m still in two minds about the RBS app – it looks sleeker than the Barclays one but some of the actions aren’t quite as intuitive. Anyway, I’m using them for now as my money hub account (until (if) they remove the Child & Co branding)

You’ve never failed to impressive me when you’re waxing lyrical. :joy:

Have to say though - if that :point_up_2:t4:is your screen-test piece to take over the next weather presenter slot then, frankly…… well you know….:flushed:

Perfectly happy with my Chase accounts.

Spending budget goes in on payday, then just use Google Pay for all normal spend, with roundups on.

Need DD for the account opened for my energy top ups, but that aside it’s all good for now.

Come September, reassess its usefulness :man_shrugging:

Yes indeed. If they’ve not freshened things up by then, I suspect something’s amiss. I hope that’s not the case.

I think Auto topups like Revolut would be a winner!

Though that would suggest a payment card -type account. We don’t really need one of those.

I am going to keep my Chase account, if only for the debit card, which as I mentioned previously, is, in my opinion, one of the most premium looking debit cards I’ve seen in years. When I take mine out in Asda to pay for the groceries, I feel like a Lord, oh, hang on a minute, now I’m in the wrong thread and Lord Recchan will bust me

Just had the latest “survey” within the Chase Community forum.

I’m a patient man, but blimey, are Chase testing me!!

The survey must have been the thick end of 150 questions - dreadful format too with an incoherent structure and no back button.

Feedback there shall be :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
