Chase UK Discussion

Thanks for the notice, Chase

Waiting for their next referral program to start so I can join. Been a while sigh :pensive:

Shall they open it again I’ll shoot you a message :’)

I had a notification this morning about a direct debit tomorrow, but when I go into the app I can’t see anything, should I see it listed somewhere?

I also get this error a lot of the time, does anyone else get this?

Your DD should be listed under “Payments → Scheduled”.

Yes, I occasionally get that message.

Thanks. The DD is listed, but I can’t see anywhere about the upcoming payment tomorrow.

With Starling it appears in shows up in my transaction list with a future date, but nothing with Chase?

Yes, on reflection, I don’t recall seeing anything in the transaction feed. Just the notification.

Probably on their list……. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I don’t think many banks show future direct debits in the transaction list, so there’s no guarantee that it’s on Chase’s “to do” list. They might just leave it as it is.

Should I wait for the next referral, or sign up now? I’m looking to switch over, but been waiting for a while now.

I think Chase have had enough of the referrals thing. I’d be surprised if they introduce another soon.

Why not just sign up, and get the current benefits?

I don’t mind, I guess just fomo on their next referral program, straight after signing up. Might just go ahead and open an account now, cheers.

They fell over like a house of cards when they launched the promo campaign so I doubt they’ll be offering it again anytime soon

You’d expect a CASS switch incentive next, to try and pick up any stragglers.

2030 perhaps :thinking::rofl:

Yeh I thought as much, likely to be a switch incentive soon. Isn’t the 1% cashback for 12 months only as well?

Correct.

They give you a countdown. As an early customer, mine has already started.

What comes next will be key.
