I think only one’s fine. Main implies one that sits above the others, however you define it.

The definition is in the original thread from 2021.
Those definitions aren’t fit for purpose. As this thread shows for many people the four things that post uses to define main account may well be served by four different accounts.
I’d suggest in this situation, it’s not a case that you have multiple mains, but that you in fact have no mains! So probably not the poll for you. Or perhaps a multiple or none option to include you.

I don’t think you should’ve. It confused me to see them randomly appear while I was writing a post thinking it was some Discourse glitch. But more crucially, it stemmed from the above discussion and is talking about using Monzo as your main bank, which this thread is for. It’s not just general chat.

joint starling account for both of our salaries in, and household expenses, DDs etc out. so probably that.
amex for spending, Marcus for saving.
really need to trim down all the other current accounts I have for no real reason…

Perhaps those who voted other could mention below which bank they are using so they can be added to next version of poll.

And judging from the discussion prior to the poll, and the names missing from it, it’ll either be Chase or Algbra for most folks who picked other.
Seems strange to omit them from the poll, when they were the most common fintech names to crop up in the thread.

Halifax is also inexplicably missing.
I’ve just pored over the original thread. Even then, the plurality of the thing was evident. Indeed much of what’s being said here today was said then (but that included other folk).
It says to me that the question no longer works, largely because forum members, almost by definition, will have blurred the edges of account use.
By all means redraw the survey, but……… well, you know, the question has been much better explored through this here conversation.
